Carrier Pre-Selection (CPS) is a simple and cost-effective way of routing calls to your chosen network. The local exchange is programmed to automatically route your calls via one of our Tier 1 Carriers without you having to dial an access code, re-program your telephone system, or install automatic dialing equipment.

Because no additional hardware needs to be installed, your existing telephone numbers can be automatically transferred with zero disruption to your service.

  • Switching your line rental to Support UK will stop all Line bills from BT. You will start to receive one bill from Support UK showing line rental and other services you may receive from us.
  • After receiving your order, we will contact BT on your behalf and arrange theseamless transfer of your lines to us. It is not a problem if BT Maintains your phone system. Any separate charges for system maintenance or equipment rental (such as payphones and the like) will continue to be billed for by BT. However Support UK will still bill for all the Line Rental charges, thus saving your business money.
  • Any faults or service issues will be reported to Support UK. We will then liaise with BT Wholesale on your behalf to get the problem fixed. Support UK have an out of hours emergency number which can be used for fault reporting. The fault will be reported to BT in the normal way, and if necessary an engineer visit will be arranged usually for the next working day
